FPGA Designer


  • Bachelor in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • 5 years of experience in FPGA design.
  • Knowledge in VHDL and SystemVerilog coding
  • Experience with timing analysis, synchronization and FPGA simulation environment
  • Experience with low resource optimizations
  • Experience with Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus design tools and simulation with ModelSim or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Linux Environments


  • Experience in Image Processing
  • Knowledge in SPI, I2C, and LVDS interfaces
  • Experience in C++, Python, and TCL coding languages
  • Experience in debugging PCB boards
  • Experience with MatLab
  • Knowledge with agile development and tools such as JIRA
  • Knowledge of version control tools: Git
  • Knowledge in Automotive Safety Standards: ASIL, ISO-26262


The R&D team is composed of software engineers and image processing researchers, looking to expand the software only solution to provide a hardware optimization of our technologies. As a member of the FPGA team, you will be an active contributor to the design and success of the hardware implementations of the product solutions, working closely with software and research teams.

What you will do:


  • Design and implement RTL logic, run block-level simulation, FPGA synthesis and backend, timing closure.
  • Deep dive into Faurecia IRYStec’s image processing algorithms to be converted to hardware-based implementation.
  • Thoroughly simulate, verify and test implementation so it complies with our customer’s safety critical applications.
  • Document code and design
  • Establish priorities and estimate deadline.
  • Align with other internal teams
  • Contribute to the team’s daily planning and design
  • Keep an eye on the latest technological trends to ensure we innovate as much as we can.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions on how we can extend or improve our technology.
